On that ver in your link, the sound setting can only toggle between "Sound" and "Vibrate" but not "Mute". Just one thing that I picked up.
That's how it is on lollipop. There's some info on this a few pages back I think.

If you want full mute you have use the interruptions toggle (all, priority, none).

No, this is not true for the Poland version. All the option are there regarding sound.

I also noticed when tapping on the lollipop, the background is your home screen background and not just black, as with the XDA link.
There are clearly some differences between the SamMobile and XDA file so...

Are you running official or leaked OS?

Hold an Application and move the application to the top where it says create new folder?

O yes, I forget :D.

I thought I much tap and hold the home screen then get presented with the option.

What has been irritating me lately is that for some reason the ringtone goes down to 5%.
Then also sometimes my videos on facebook won't play with sound until i restart the phone?

A problem I have with FB, that has always been there I assume is that I can't update or add my "mood" to my status through the fb app. But that's small stuff.

I walked from store to store (Vodacom, CellC, MTN, Incredible Connection etc etc) and nobody has a Note 3 usb cable.

Actually the one Vodacom (chatz?) had a no name brand but for R390!!
The Gadget Shop has a no name brand for R199.00

WTF?

I can buy the original product from kalahari for R197.00 and the Chinese make from HD Cabling for R49.00 (plus delivery of course).

I ordered from ebay very cheap but it will probably take 3 months...

I'm not in a hurry so I'm ok.

Currently running PAC-ROM (Kitkat 4.4.4, I think?) and I'm not particularly impressed with any of the added features, so I'd like to try "Stock Android". I see that you're all talking about the lollipop ROM from sammobile, but is there any point in trying to get the version that Google releases for their Nexus phones (i.e. most up to date without any of the Samsung bloat)? I don't use the s-pen at all, so there's no worry about losing that functionality for me. What should I look at?

I couldn't find one either so I settled for a Body Glove USB2 cable that does 2.1A as well.

R150 at Cell C.

Well... the Rom for Nexus won't work for the Note 3.
Samsung designed your product so its obviously a better idea to take an OS/Rom tailored around their device.

If you don't want all the bloat then you can try X-Note and remove all of the things that you don't use but I do not think that you can remove the s-pen functionality.

Also, the s-pen is awesome.

I don't need to remove the pen functionality. But in the 15 months or so, I've never used the pen, so I honestly couldn't care if it's there or not.

The reason I asked about Nexus was purely around whether it was "Stock Android". I want to install Lollipop because I hear it does amazing things with memory and it is the latest version. PAC-ROM doesn't seem to have any OTA updates (that I've noticed), which the original Samsung ROM at least did.

Why should I look at X-Note instead of the Samsung ROM? I care nothing for Samsung's ecosystem or any of the bull around it (S-Health etc.).

I feel that X-Note runs better than stock as you can remove unnecessary ***** like S-Health and Flipboard and other crap. It also uses less ram.

I usually wait for Shiverz or someone to post a Mega link. have to wait till they online.
