Same here longest a device has survived without root. Don't even want to as this is just perfect as is.

Yes I had to enable oem unlock, but you want to say for example that you had to do xyz on Windows 8 to get windows 10, but dit have to when going from xp to 7. Software/hardware changed and sometimes there is a few extra steps to take to upgrade software/firmware.

No carrier bloatware has pushed through yet and no bugs/issues so far. I am on mtn with original xfa firmware and now on XFE.

Hi, thanks for info.
I have personally found when flashing (in past)
Some CSC countries, firmware updates /ROM), the "modem" included, might be not as optimize, as other Firmware modems in updated ROM. ( Also older modem versions could used in update... etc)
Resulting in weaker reception etc. or modems /radio might be better.!
Also some latest Security patches might not be included in the update. Eg CSC " MiD" does not have March security patch.?
Also i flashed so many different Roms onto Note 3 and 4 that i had so a mixture of CSC
eventually that i did not know "whats what"!
Interesting, fact, that you were on unbranded XFA and now on branded XFE ?
that's info what i was looking for.
thank you,
Good luck

I don't agree.

I have a LG G4 and I think I'm the only one who did a OTA in the G4 thread and as far as I know my phone's battery performance was and is still the best.

I had no issues at all with my phone and the other guys who downloaded and flashed all had some sort of issue.

I'm going to wait for the OTA. Last time I waited and it surely paid off.

hi ,
i based my opinion on my personal experience/use of Samsung roms etc.over the years .
Example that i used ,was my Note5, auto rotate (as well as my Smart Stay) that still had issues after 2 x OTA 's .
I never owned a Lg device ,so you will know better in this regard .
but thanks .
good luck

I flashed the CAM version yesterday and it has no issues whatsoever, everything works great, fingerprint scanner is crazy fast, mobile reception is perfect. The phone is just perfect, still monitoring battery..I'm on telkom mobile had the XFA version of lollipop, as long as you use the correct model firmware you shouldn't have any issues, but if you want to wait then go ahead but bugs can be found on OTA updated phones too.

Then make it two of us. But you never reached 5hours SOT did you?

No. But I didn't try either. You were getting better time than me, but I had no issues ever.

If I would to get 5hours of screen on time, my wife would divorce me ;)

I'm using a S6 Wireless Charger with my Note 5. It takes about 2h45min to fully charge from about 5%.

Does anyone use a Fast Charge Wireless Charger and how long does it take to charge?

Then I definitely need to get one.

I have two S6 Wireless Chargers. Will sell them and get a Fast Charge one.
Didn't your phone come with a fast charger? That thing is the best thing ever! Lol

Hi all,
Just for those members wondering about
Marshmallow.. XFE. (and my queries in post)
Flashed ... XFE.
No issues. I was on Vodacom and see that XFE kept my Vodacom boot screen. (normally it changes with carriers etc.)
Only tried to install one "spam.? app?
Video player (no other name for app )
Notified me about critical update to video player app and wanted to send a sms..?
I uninstalled app. Thats all spam apps.
So far everything ok.
Bottom line my auto rotate still does not work (by itself) I have to enable 3rd party app for it to work smoothly.
Thanks
for members, who gave me "input/replying " re my XFE queries .
I still don't know who "carrier /product code XFE is.
