Samsung Galaxy Note 5

Easy turn on @ Airwakeup.. Marshmallow v 6. 0.1
Just a update re Airwakeup (Samsung) called feature, in Lollipop version that dissappeared?
I factory resetted my device and manage to get all my settings "bugs" sorted out!
Actually first time, for me a factory reset worked (in past never did)
I found that the "Airwakeup" function is now called Easy turn on ?
Device /Settings /Accessibility /Dexterity and interaction /Easy screen turn on..... enable.
This is function where you wave hand over device, to wake. ( uses Proximity sensor)
Works really well for me.
I keep it permanently enabled with no noticeable battery drain.!
eg.
night time to see time, messages etc without pressing power button (saves)
other uses if your hands are oily or hand is wet
etc.
Info .. For members that find it a useful function...!
Good luck
And if you use a lock screen with fingerprint?

hi, thanks for pointer,
i enabled it, no issues. Works.
However ,it seems to me more noticeable in
TouchWiz launcher eg screen size , grid , etc
I have Nova (Never, like TouchWiz)
and yesterday set my Nova grid settings to
9x 9 (which on TouchWiz you can't set it so low.) So for me in Nova Prime it's not so noticeable .. agreed?
Maybe as TouchWiz, grid max is 5 x5
thats why its more noticeable in TouchWiz . Looks good, in TouchWiz.
I think you also stated you use Nova.. correct.?
Good luck

Hi, just tested Fp lock with easy wake up... , works fine,
Wakes up, shows lockscreen and notifications, if you have notification enabled for lockscreen.
Good luck

Also use Nova.

Noticed on most screens that it shows a little bit more than normal. Doesn't just changes TouchWiz.

I see in Android N this will be available as well with 5 settings instead of 2.

I don't have notifications enabled on the lockscreen. I use my Galaxy Gear S to see all my notifications.
Probably one of the best accessories I bought for a phone.
hi,
Yes, should be.!
I use the old original Gear watch.. no issues.!
Works 100 % All functions.
Its rooted,, custom Rom and running Android
(Yes a watch! .)
I flash my Gear back when Samsung "forced, us to upgrade to Tizen.
Also, i also wear a Polar M400, which has limited notifications, but passable.
Good luck

Yes it is SM-N920C, so I can use the XFE or the AFR version?
hi,
i installed XFE version on my N920C.
I have Vodacom device.
If you flash your device best is to do clean install on Marshmallow (This is what i found to be better) O, and if you flash XFE you still keep all Vodacom brandings.. boot, apps ( i uninstalled them apps ) otherwise ok.

How can I get all the Vodacom crap off my device? Also my device is busy downloading the OTA version which is 6.0.0 will it get an update for 6.0.1? Do I do a factory reset after the install or just reset settings?

hi,
You have to flash an unbranded Marshmallow version. I suggest do the OTA, see whats going on and do a factory reset. afterwards.
The reset settings, worked for me... 10 minutes and then i had issues again.!
Eventually I did factory reset.
Also you are coming from Android v 5.1.1 to next version... Android 6....(major update)
So best is to factory reset.
Good luck
