Just got my dual sim note 5 n9208 64gb, ordered off ebay. Super smooth using a telkom mobile sim and me&you sim.

Feels much better than the note 4 but very similar to the edge+.

Mind you no voice issues as reported earlier.

I must agree with you on the super smoothness. My Note 4 feels like a totally different phone with the Note 5 firmware port I'm currently running on it.

By the way the n9208 supports lte across all networks including cell c and telkom mobile.

I know of 4 or 5 Vodashops who have confirmed they have the black and gold in stock, while one says that they have some white. Doesn't seem like the titanium silver is available at all. Cheapest contract on Vodacom is R599 a month. I didn't ask which one it is but I expect something like a Smart S.

If only I knew it'd already be out. I got my upgrade about 2 months ago because I was already tired of waiting for an upgrade and when they said that they'd only have it at the end of the year I didn't feel like waiting that long.

I thought this isn't out in SA yet? They only just expanded it out of Korea where they were testing it.

Yea I wasn't sure if the built in standard Magnetic Secure Transmission works off the fly as it uses existing credit card reader technology.

Has anyone been able to get a decent cover for it? Got my black Note 5 yesterday and all they had was a dodgy clear silicone cover. Makes the phone look so ugly.
