Wait a month or 2.Vodacom has the monopoly of cool colours on Samsung phones. The silver colour will probably launch but be exclusive to Vodacom.

History tends to repeat itself.
 
Anybody know what deals I can get this phone on with Vodacom, can't find anything on their site regarding the Note 5.
 
I see the MTN deal for R599 is until end of the month only. Does this mean the price will increase or decrease. Is there any better deal then this.what colours is all available in the note 5.

I highly doubt it will move their deals are normally for a month only. Vodacom is the same price but I think you get more value from the MTN deal. The only colours available in the country at the moment is black and gold. The guys in the Samsung store said white will be here by the end of the year but they are not sure about the silver.

Some Vodashops have the white one. I think the one in fourways mall had one if I'm not mistaken. According to Samsung they won't be bringing the Silver into SA.
 
I just read on my twitter feeds, Samsung S. A, is presently, /(now) holding there Note5 launch function ....??
and i and other members, already got our Note5 last week (Friday.)
Somebody sure got their launch dates mixed up or what ?

Nope.

It happened like this last year to. I think I was the 1st to get the Note 4 here, Vodashop Fourways invited me and some other customers for a Note 4 presentation 3days before launch, and we got to upgrade and take the phones that night.

hi ,
the strange thing for me, is that i did not attend any presentation function or had been invited .?
I walked in normal working day and got it of the "shelf" (from the person i always deal with )
Further even the sales person (that been at the shop for years ) even did not know that the Note 5 was "been launched/going on sale/ " that day Person , only found out when arriving for work that day ?. .
To me it appears that the "launch"/sale is been rushed before Iphone can be released 16 October ?

Anyway i am quite happy with my Note5 smoothness ,battery life and overall prefomance .Only one "bug " that is irritating me, is my auto rotation icon is missing in my quick settings and in the normal settings .Not really a big issues for me, as work around is available . (icon setting option in eg. video ,pics present )
I Googled issue and got conflicting results ....................???
The results i got about my auto rotation issue was it could be Nova launcher that "breaks it ..???
(yes, i use Nova and not going to uninstall it for this issue )
Other results was that"bug " was also present in S6+ etc and Samsung was aware of it already with S6+.etc etc Also no factory reset etc fixes it ???
I checked phone hidden settings *#0*# my sensor (re image test and readings ) Auto rotation /accelerometer is working fine .
Any other members with this auto rotation issue ?
