And screen protector front and rear? Got the superfly one from Vodacom as it was all they had and it's too small. The edges of the screen aren't covered. Like 2mm on each side of the actual screen.

For those forum members, who are still undecided about getting Note5. This is my impressions so far.
Got the Note5 yesterday at Gateway
Gold in color. (I also have the Note 2,Note 3,Note 4, all running smoothly with good battery life, ) My original opinion was meh... not much to upgrade...! but i got the Note5 and I have changed my opinion...! The most important point for me is how very smooth and responsive Note5 is , no hiccups) I must admit better than my other Notes devices (facts.... root, tweaks and all ) that i have. Also changing device themes is is also a big plus for me.... (no modding or hacking ) So got some nice black themes for Note5.
So far battery 24 hours plus has been good, (on par with other devices)
So now my opinion overall is, that Note 3, Note 4 are very good phones but Note5 is up there also....
Also got a clear case as to highlight phone's nice shiny back.. (thus, no fingerprint magnet)

O, yes just to add the two drawbacks on
Note5, no removable battery and no ext sd card. I had a usb otg adapter and use it. It's is a good alternative /work around for no ext sd. Works fine. (I have two other devices that has no removable battery Htc and Note 8.0 tab, so i have accepted that.. change)

I had a look at the Note 5 today at a Samsung store in Pavilion, very nice and premium and if anything actually feels better in hand than the S6 edge plus does . Strange how it has been launched so quietly here , the previous years more was made at the launch with the Note 3 and 4 , but with the Note 5 it's been very quiet . It seems Samsung have concentrated on the S6 edge plus rather which is a little sad .
Must admit the pricing at Vodacom on contract just seems a little strange , not so much the Note 5 but rather the S6 edge plus . The S6 edge plus is the same price as the Note 5 at MTN and yet at Vodacom the S6 edge plus costs R50 more per month than the Note 5 on the smart small package .

Does anyone know if any stores have the Silver Platinum color of the note 5? I kind of liked that version a bit better than the gold variant. Everywhere just has gold or black.

I asked a few of the vodacom shops and they said Samsung wasn't bringing the Silver to SA. Don't know if it's true or not tho.
Wait just to confirm did you get the Note 5 from Vodacom on contract?

Yes. It was strangely a very silent release. Got it in Friday on the smart s for R600 per month.

Not on contract. Bought it cash from them as I have a mate that works there so I qualify for a special price .

Ha ha ha. No worries. Maybe they were still loading the phone on their systems or something like that.
China mall. I got one to keep me going until I get my spigen cover that I bought off ebay. Paid 100 bucks for a clear silicon cover. Having used spigen covers before it's the only cover I trust to protect a phone.
