The S7 Edge is looking like a better option for me at the moment. I don't want to get the Note7 only to be disappointed when something goes wrong with it. I desperately need a new phone. My Note4 is giving me too much issues with the replacement battery I'm using.

The S7edge is fantastic, if you don't need the S Pen... pull the trigger.

The S-pen comes in handy whenever I need to take down notes at work, which is basically the only time I use the s-pen. Think I'll jump ship and get the S7 Edge instead.

One day I'll see the need to have a tablet with me all the time... and when I do, it needs to have an S Pen.

I love you okes, and I am very happy with my Note 3 (and the 1 for that matter). Send me a PM when the sale price of your Note 7 is below R3000

I use the SPen a whole lot, especially Smart Select and Screen Write, they've become essentials.

I may just have to wait until next year, lol.

What battery did you get for your Note 4? I got a brand new one from Samsung Smart Care earlier this year and it has been great.

I also use the spen a lot for smart select. It would probably be one of the things I'll miss most. (Going to give a Note7 firmware port a try on my Note4)

I got a replacement battery from a local cell shop. Not original Samsung. The problem is, my phone will shut off whenever I try to use the camera. No problem though if I keep the phone connected to the charger.

I may have to try and find a genuine Samsung battery somewhere.

Can't live/work without my Note (3). Don't carry a notebook and a pen anymore. Use it for so many things other than phoning people.

Would love the Note 7 once they sort out the teething problems and bring out a non edge version.

The OEM battery is virtually unobtainable locally at present. The main Vodacom shop in Nelspruit quoted me R900.00 payment up front and 7days to import.

I ended up buying Raztech replacement battery for R300.00.That has been in use with no issues since 7 August. Only caveat. It does not support NFC.

Great thanks. I'll see if I can get hold of one. I don't care for NFC, don't use it.

If you consider the Dubai price and take that price (which I assume includes profit) our local selling prices stated here are very expensive.

The Dubai price @ $833 with an exchange rate of R16 will give a selling price of R13330
