If you have the S7edge, and don't need the S Pen, don't upgrade

If you are due an upgrade, and don't have the S7edge yet, and won't use the S Pen, get the S7edge.

That makes perfect sense :D

I haven't looked at the specs.....but I deduce from your comment that there are no other benefits or features that the Note 7 has over the S7 Edge, apart from the S pen. There used to be a big difference in screen size between the S series and the Note series, but it looks like the size difference is now almost the same.

The Note 7 does have 64Gb on board storage..... If the S6 edge had that it would be a no-brainer if you can live without the S-pen. Price on Orange website is r13605

I'm having my doubts about getting this phone. Too many people complaining about random reboots and battery drain. Maybe I should just go for the S7 Edge. I see MTN is giving a Gear VR with theirs till the end of the month. Pity I only saw the promotion now...

In which countries are the complaints? If only the USA... still get it.

Mostly the USA, I'll wait and see how things develop. The issues are most probably firmware related, in which case I'm not worried about it too much since it can be fixed.

And those US cellular dudes always seem to screw things up

Well alot of people have had devices in pockets etc and are saying the scratch issue is blown out of proportion they said exactly same about the s7 edge and @faniedry still said he wont use a protector for screen with his s7 edge
