Those of you who did online upgrades/pre-orders recently at Vodacom can maybe clear something up for me.

Two years ago when I did my online upgrade, my phone was delivered via courier at my workplace. I've read however last night in a reply Vodacom gave to someone that they will be delivering to your nearest Vodacom shop, and you have to collect from them.

Do they do it this way now?

Honestly... All handsets have issues especially the early batches.. These are a handful of complaints. How many million happy peeps out there. Apple also had devices explode

Unfortunately on forums especially the big ones only the negative sides come out. While the happy people dont bother to even read or even post.

We are atleast getting a totally different variant... Hopefully all issues if any addressed

hi ,
i agree with your viewpoint (in general )
However , for me the point of interest
is .The exploding phones , (these two cases )
was it that these persons used a generic
C port cable or original,as i have read Google opinion /blog post , that it could happen if you use wrong C port cables etc .?
So for me its not about the phone ,but using generic C port cables ?(The dangers)

At this point I feel like sticking to my trusty Note 4.
Could be the best option mate, I have also thought the same. Why pay so much to have a phone that is clearly not that much of a step ahead, and is filled with problems.

My Note 4 has been solid from Day 1, although I did have a reboot issue due to encryption, but I sorted it out, seemed to be a file in my MMC.
