Samsung Galaxy S10

I registered on the site after the 10th, and they eventually called this week and gave me the special for 499

Not sure where Mybroadband got their pricing on the screen replacements but the Chinese after market replacement screens for the S10 range from $200 to $220.

A lot of money so better off with care+ or at least cheap accidental damage insurance like what Vodacom is offering.

Tried but can't get decent quotes. Prices range from R300-R400 with excess ranging from R700-R2000 and I'm not sure why and they don't tell me why. I'm better off with Granadilla or Vodacom insurance. This is what Outsurance quoted me 2 years back for my S8 when I just got it.

Damn, that is excessive! Change your insurer lol

Also my excess is R500 ;)

That amount excluded house hold contents and the Quote is from Outsurance. Including households contents the quote was over R1k monthly.

Funny how the deemed my household contents as high risk being in a Security estate with electric fencing. Boom gates with 24/7 security guards and a electric gate to the complex inside the estate that is walled right round and also got electric fence...

Not sure how Outsurance deem that is "high risk"

Ouch, that's hectic. Here is mine. Was posted earlier as well.

The insurance on my S8+ was in fact R30 more per month.

Same, now just to go to a Telkom store this afternoon to actually get my porting done.
Did my port on Thursday and was completed on Saturday morning. Much better value for money on Telkom than vodacom. I spent on average more with Vodacom on prepaid airtime and data than the current monthly contract fee with Telkom.

What was the process on the port? Ie. How did you do it?

In store. Was less than 10 minutes. International calling is off by default and can only be opened in store or by completing an online form and emailing it to them. Only found this out over the weekend as I had to make a call to the UK. Will go to the store again to open international calls.

Apart from the wait to actually get helped the port was quick. Watching 7 people hovering around 4 stations and getting nothing done is rather infuriating though.

So i ordered my Dbrand skins on the 26-03-2019 and it was delivered today 2-04-2019

Seriously impressed with their new delivery service
