Samsung Galaxy S10

My S9+ lasts about 13 hours with about 3 hours screen on time

Eagerly awaiting my S10

Paying R750 with 1.5GB data and 50 Mins. I was paying about the same for my s8 with 2GB of data so not too bad deal. Included is the phone, accessories, wireless buds, back cover, screen protectors and a R500 Samsung accessory voucher.

I had a long cycle today so haven't had a chance to play that much but so far my impressions are good. The device feels tiny even though it has the same size screen as my s8 which now looks like a s3... Hardly felt it in my pocket during my cycle so that's a big plus.
Will report back once I've got a chance to play with it.

Used to be you got your new baby and rush to come post pics in her Unboxing glory.

Mine has been approved and waiting on the call from courier company and the first debit order to go off.

In SA it comes with a hard plastic clear cover and a pre-installed screen protector

My first debit went off last week. No communication from Telkom since.
Been trying to follow up via 10213 however it says they currently having a system failure (this is from Thurs last week)

Frustrating, as the stores can't see the order as it is not on the same system as the pre-orders

Hmm I put in my order on Wednesday last week with Telkom and delivery is scheduled for today. I have the tracking number so no issue as far as I can see.

I had some luck tracking my order via online chat on Friday to ensure everything is in order, perhaps give that a try?

Note that the S10e comes with a different cover.
I'm not using mine. It isn't to my liking. No probs though as I have ordered a plain one with the R500 voucher.

I will post some pictures tonight.

So far I'm liking the s10e. My only slight complaint is the power button/finger print reader. It's not that it doesn't work, it's just that its a little higher than where my thumb usually sits so you need to reach for it (and I have big hands, will be worse of small hands). Also as it is not protruding like the old power buttons, it's hard to feel where it is without looking at it which can be annoying as I always use the power button to turn off the screen.

The face unlock is surprisingly good even with sunglasses on so I actually haven't been using the fingerprint reader that much.

The battery is currently on 78% with moderate use so far (some WhatsApp, Instagram, a couple photos and even a PowerShare demo).
 
I don't think this is exactly new to the s10 but I plugged it into my Dell dongle (HDMI / USB / Ethernet) I have for my XPS 13 and Dex appeared. Really pretty cool actually!

Not new, but its dev better than Dex was on S8. Still prefer the look and feel of Huawei's implementation, plus the Wireless cast on P20 is a big plus.

2nd sim is shared with the SD slot. Doesn't really bother me. 128GB is more than enough for now.

Who has the best Data deals? Was thinking of getting a Rain SIM but coverage might be a problem when going up the West coast.
