I received the phone this morning.
Can confirm it is dual sim and also esim.

Battery was completely dead. Had to put it on a wall charger for a few minutes to get it booting.

Currently updating to latest software.

It was probably sitting in the MTN warehouse for the last two years.
 
I cant wait, ordered mine on wednesday morning, being delivered on monday. Dual sim, both locked on mtn network?
 
Got an email saying out of stock on the silver one, hopefully black one will have stock

This S21 Ultra deal from MTN is pretty tempting. but what are you guys planning on doing with the phone, use as a spare phone or use as primary?

For the price it's still better then the A54 which would be going for almost R100 more a month. Hell don't think you can get the A34 for that price pm

Good luck Kicking myself for not giving it proper thought and taking the deal. Could have taken it and then having a backup phone it might have made sense to cancel the insurance on my S23+.

Been using an S21 ultra since launch.

Been looking to upgrade to S23 and after a side by side review, the differences are so small it's not worth it.
 
Did the application on Sunday for the phone and received a call yesterday from the MTN agent saying the phone is out of stock. Looks like they removed it from the website to. Hope he calls me during the week with good news...

When they advertise or offer these amazing deals and the stock is so limited they really should put a warning up so as to not get everyone's hopes up for nothing.

Reminds me of a really cheap OnePlus 7 deal Vodacom Online offered 3 years ago, I applied and they strung me along for 3 weeks for no good reason. It didn't need to drag on so long but I happened to get the guy doing WFH who seemed really slack at his job and additionally they messed up the contract vetting process.

I did mine on Saturday and haven't received a call, that really sucks
