Samsung Galaxy S21

Has anyone using OTA updates received an update since the 1 January security patch?
 
What charger recommendations are there for a S21 ultra, I want to get an extra one for travelling that will allow for super fast charging?

Here model s20 charger try and buy this one as it's officially supported for thr 25watt charging

Bought a Volkano 25w PD Charger from Outdoor Warehouse for R 199. It superfast charges my s21 Ultra.
 
Has anyone here not used their IC voucher issued when the S21 launched last year? T&C's (109) say they are only valid for 12 months, when I tried to check my voucher's balance end of March it said R0 balance (I didnt enter the PIN with it, as they call it a 'scratch code' on the website) but I now when I checked again and entered the PIN with the voucher code it says the balance is R1000.

Edit: Just used mine now for an online purchase from IC, just in case it expires as it was meant to.

I stopped using SamMobile and switched to this instead, been running the firmware for about 6 months. It downloads so much faster than SamMobile.

This video should serve a good enough guide

Yeah. Frija is amazing. Been using it for a year now as well.
I left sammobile for a few years now. I still use them to check which countries have the latest versions but I use frija for everything else.

I used to use samfirm before frija but it has issues.
 
Anyone using MTN and Vodacom physical sims noticed issues the last day or two of sim 1 not allowed suddenly? Or is it only me? If I turn off sim 2 the issues stop. If I use esim and sim 1 issues stop
 
Let's see if someone here can help: S21 Ultra, with Dual SIM: SIM1 = Vodacom (calls and text), SIM2 = RAIN (unlimited 4G data).
Now, whenever the phone rings on SIM1, SIM2 drops its data capability, ie. the 4G or whatever goes away, and the phone has no data connection.
This is obviously a moerse problem for using something like Truecaller, as there is now no data connection to look up the number. Any advice from you clever people (don't find anything on the interwebs)
 
Anyone having this sim 1 not allowed thing?
Literally cannot use the sim 1 slot at all on my s21 plus :(

Are you sure it is not blocked. I had a similar situation with S20 bought new online and after a few months the SIM1 stopped working. Turned out the origonal owner owed MTN money and they blocked the phone. They only seem to block SIM1

Is there a way to check whether it's blocked or not by myself, or do i have to go to MTN?
