Samsung Galaxy S23

From any particular app? Cause I've got no delay on my ultra when pulling up the task switcher.
yeah, on my base if I pull it up from the homescreen it's still instant but within an app there's that delay that automatically taps wherever the finger rests when it finally responds. It's only annoying because of the muscle memory I have to wrestle with lol

I'll have to experiment if maybe a Good Lock module that changes the task switcher might fix this, but I doubt it would as it just skins it differently. Other folks reported that full resets also didn't fix this, but it looks like not everyone's affected :/

Just upgraded to One UI8... And everything seems jerky when scrolling.

Pity they didn't fix the battery capsule.

One UI 8 just landed for the S23 FE.

Was checking this morning for the update not expecting it as Samsung indicated it will only be released in November, but there it was. 😎

Odd my wifes s23 fe upgraded almost 2 weeks back.

Ah that probably is it yeah, didn't know we got the Snapdragon version here.
Imported it via Amazon.

It was cheaper at the time and a little bit faster than the Exynos version.

Just the risk of no support, but heard the SD version was faster.
whats the risk in terms of support?
like warranty? cos the other replacement(eg screen, battery) parts should be identical between Exynos & SD versions, or am i wrong?

Imported products generally only have 1 year vs 2 years

warranty would just cover defective parts right? cracked screen is still gonna be for the owners account?

Yeah that would be sure, but they could also pull some BS that it's not supported or something.

Mine updated on 7 October already. Nothing special though, for me anyway. UI7 was more interesting because it brought AI to the phone, and even there I was not wowed as I expected.

Just got the October security update.

My S23's battery lasts like 8 hours on average now. Phone is basically living off the charger.

Anybody had their battery recently replaced? I need to have mine done, but in the past I have replaced a 3 year old phone's battery and the standby time did not improve. Even after wiping the cache partition. Full factory reset is last resort.

Contemplating to wait it out till the release of the S26 next year, or just try replacing the battery and hope it lasts longer than 8 hours.

2.5yrs of sticking to the 80% max charge setting is finally paying me back. My Brother and Father are complaining that their Ultra's are now showing major battery Deg, but mine is still very decent.

Not seeing any battery issues on my Ultra. The USB-C port itself is giving issues though, have to wiggle the cable now and then before it connects.

Anyone experienced a pink or green line that appeared on their s23 screen?

How does one fix the green line of death? Is a screen replacement the only way?
