It's a massive upgrade from the S3... but the S4? Not so much.
Yep, but that seems to be the norm now and we say it at every launch of every new phone from Samsung and Apple. Small jump from one iteration but big jump from two.

http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_mwc_2014-review-1055.phpThe camera does, however, record UHD video - Samsung's initial information was for 1080p, but we can now confirm it's really 4K UHD (2160p).
It is, but only if you have a 4K TV. You can't see the quality on the 1080p screen nor most TVs out there.
Seems as if Samsung is not really chasing specs here. Only 2GB of RAM? +1 for Sony!
What did people expect to see?
I think smartphones have reached a plateau
They should have called this thing Samsung Galaxy S4.1
IF you consider the big difference in features between the S2 and S3 and then the S3 and S4, this is a huge failure.
But that's just my opinion.
Hello there Sony...
Thing is I'm not really looking to upgrade, I just expected more from the S5:erm:
If the S5 is a huge failure then you'll be sorely disappointed by the Sony Xperia Z2 as well, as it's almost identical besides 1GB more RAM, a slower processor and a better camera.
That dimpled back though...![]()
I think it looks an improvement on the S4 on that side at least.
Rly?

It's monstrously ugly.
