Samsung Galaxy S5

Why does my whatsapp notifcations say "content hidden" with no way to drag down the notification bar to read the message like in previous versions?

Just go to the settings and change it to "visible always" or something like that.

Yes there is. But if you disable the notifications for apps there you dont get any notification from that app regardless of mode. Theres no option to say disable for priority. Funny thing is that when i tested it, it still played the sound but just didn't put any notification in the notification bar.
Of you enable it there, an option for priority should be activated.

I upgraded to KitKat 4.4.2 and all is working again. :p

So you successfully downgraded from 5.0 back to 4.4.2?

I've tried and it just sticks on the Samsung logo. Downloaded the UK 4.4.2. Anywhere we can download the SA one?

scratch that... it just booted yay :D

So you have the new KK... How does it compare to that old Lollipop you used to have?
Exactly the same, except I have my Mute quick setting back, which I really use all the time.

Hopefully new build versions of Lollipop will have it fixed, then I will install it again.

Samsung did say that the Polish Lollipop ROM was released to squash any bugs, so it was expected.

Most/all apps are material design now, so feels just the same to me.

Do you just follow the same steps as with flashing to a newer version?
Will it trip the Knox flag going down from 5.0 to 4.4.2?

I used odin and a 4.4.2 firmware from sammobile.com just as i did with 5.0

worked fine the second time.

Did anyone doubt android L was super overhyped ? Not me.

Android 5.0 is actually quite a big deal, and all tech sites agree it's the biggest Android update in years.

You can read Engadget's review here : http://www.engadget.com/android-lollipop-review/

Just remember that you will only experience pure Android 5.0 with a Google Nexus device, or a Google Play Edition device.

Most other manufacturers, like Samsung and HTC, skin the OS with their own UI - Touchwiz and Sense. This waters down the pure Android experience considerably.

I do actually like the latest version of Touchwiz on my Galaxy S5.
