Not even a month old and I just dropped the f-ing thing. Small dent in the silver bezel on top.

Anyone ever had their silver bezel replaced? Is it replaced during a screen change (like the S4) or seperate? Cost?

Considering I sold my S4 for R2700, I would say S5 is worth R3500-R4250 secondhand depending on condition and ADH left
 
Are any of you guys selling your S5?

Please dont be dodgy. I dont want to deal with a blacklisted handset due to non payment on contract etc.

Sorry @FanieDry, I ended up phoning Samsung SA to get a number for ADH department.

A very friendly lady called Rauwina helped me to get my ADH going, collect the phone, send it to ADH department. As we speak, my phone is reportedly back on it's way to Rauwina at the Fairtrade offices. It took roughly two weeks (They ran out of stock of the screens, just my luck) and I was offered a loan telephone to use while I wait, which I stupidly declined.
 
Yep @Milo69, I don't subscribe to the practice of buying secondhand phones either. It's like buying a secondhand BMW, you just have to know the thing has been mal-used.

If charger cover breaks. It can be replaced for R150 and even less.
So ebay or bob not worth it unless you dont have a repair centre nearby.

Genuine repair centre - genuine product includes cost of replacing it.

Anybody know of cases that will fit over the wireless charging back cover for s5?

I did some research online - the silver bezel on the S5 is part of the centre chassis of the phone - ADH screen repair won't replace it :(
The entire phone needs to be stripped apart to get to the centre chassis which I would imagine is an expensive process.

Sucks!
 
All this bad talk about buying used devices and I was just about to make a post for selling mine :P
Damn!

Anyway... anyone interested in buying a 9-month-old S5?
