That could be the reason - flexing plastic when removing it will probably damage it if done often enough. I don't think the waterproofing seals would cause the noise

Yet for 2 years, I used an extra battery kit for my S4 and the back cover never creaked or lost any shape - it snapped back on after at least 150 battery swaps like I had just unboxed the phone.

Hence my irritation with the S5 as I have only had it for 6 months AND, due to the better battery life, only swap battery's on occasion as opposed to near daily before.

Got my S5 back and they Replaced the camera that was cracked, screen and a new silver bezel around the device. All that and they used one claim only :D So happy. The device came back like brand new. Cell Clinic works miricles with these devices. So glad ADH premium couriers the devices to them for repairs......

Claimed with ADH premium and they collected the device even the courier said OMG it's the worst he seen before and he doubts it would get fixed.

Well got a call and the phone has been repaired and only 1 claim used. Expecting delivery on Wednesday. :)

Very sorry to hear that.

They still do the pick up and delivery and loan phone (Same model) while yours is in repair for the Note 4 and newer devices as far as I know though.

My wife needs a screen replacement on her S5. Her silver bezel is also badly dented and chipped all over (she keeps leaving the phone within the kids' reach). With S4, the screen and silver bezel were 1. But with S5, I was under the impression the screen gets replaced while the existing bezel remains.

Was your bezel damaged before sending it in?

Yes when my ex threw it on the floor the silver bezel got cut like and bent. They replaced it. If you phone adh premium and courier it in they will replace the bezel if it's damaged with the screen. I did 2 claims on 2 different S5 phones and both times they changed the silver bezel.

Thanks for the feedback. Will log a call for them to collect it tomorrow.
 
Dunno if anyone is/has experienced this.

The back light on my S5 keeps going dull after about 1-2 days for the last month. When this happens the thing that makes you be able to see the screen in the sun stops working as well.

I fix this by just restarting the phone. I was just wondering if there is some kind of hard fix to the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
 
My wife's S5 is scheduled for courier pickup on Monday for its first ADH repair. Those who have used this service: did you leave battery in the phone when it was taken for repair?
 
I left my battery in and was given another battery with someone else's service ticket number. I complained and they gave me a new battery.

Normally when you hand in these things, they give you your battery and back cover.

Keep your battery, back cover and micro sd card with you. Only hand in the device. If you asked for a loan phone the loan phone will not come with a battery and back cover so you can use yours.

Right you are, sir! Just handed the phone to the courier and the loan phone came ex battery and ex back cover.
