Definitely agree on the speakers. The Galaxy S3/Note 2 didn't have great speakers but they were decent. The Note 3's is an absolute disgrace. Why didn't they just copy the awesome speaker from the Motorola RAZR? I'm always hearing this thing about Samsung being copycats...

Little bit disappointed if those are the specs. Rumors been flying around got me extremely excited for a 2k display and 3gigs of ram.
Camera I'm not overly worried about (8mp on my s3 is perfect), but yeah, if i have to wait 2 or so months for a slightly beefed up CPU might as well go get me a Note 3 now for the bigger screen real estate :/. Come on Samsung get your sh*t together

The Note 3 will always win, because the stylus gives it another dimension, it is already stupidly fast and has over the top specs.

Your article, once again shows that its only running a 1920*1080p display. The only reason why im putting off getting the Note 3 is because of that 2k display and 560+ ppi.

Then ill use, but not overly so thats not the biggest factor. That screen real estate is definitely a winning factor over say something like the G2. But i really really want that 2k display to come through on the S5

Interesting Video. One of my favorite review guys. MKBHD, He pretty much looks at phones and techs from the angles that WE actually want them to be looked at. They are interesting, informative as all well and accurate. I sit on his channel daily to see what new reviews he has done, practically every phone worth talking about. Anyway, if this is anything to go buy, ill be ordering a Note 3 + Gear from FNB at the end of the month. S5 bench mark tests are slightly above the Note 3s.

Yes, im expecting people to paste links to rumors. But what you guys forget, MKBHD makes a very very valid point. The S5 will be shipping with Kit Kat out the box with a revised Touch Wizz. This means, lighter on the ram, lighter on the battery lighter on the hardware. So while the hardware maybe slightly better, the performance will be much more noticeable. However, the Note 3 has the screen real estate and thats something which is great.

I will also take the Note 3. I am just waiting for the S5 to be released so the Note 3 will be cheaper.

My S3 took an unexpected swim over the weekend. Had a few beers and was using it as a torch to get another out of the drinks ice tub and oops.. Working fine most of the time but all of a sudden the battery randomly drops 40% to flat, restarts 2 or 3 times a day, sometimes it doesn't bother turning back on at all.

Nothing great to get at the moment and S5 probably too far away.

HTC one is still nice but also a bit old.

Brawler, don't get the HTC One. I have it and it's an outstanding piece of Tech but HTC support is truly non existent in SA. Their fb page and twitter account are dead and the company who is supposed to manage marketing and distribution is quite as a mouse. I love my HTC but I won't be supporting them again...not until they actually have some sort of presence in the country.

Also, if you need repairs the only place you can take it to is Regenernisis and they charge stupid prices, because they can.
