Knowing Apple, they secretly did a deal with Google, and Google, being the great guys they are, did not shout out to the whole world that Apple licenced the whole Android notification system for iOS from them.
 
Apple have lost their bestest phone status.

Still great devices but not the greatest any more.
 
Just taken delivery of my S5 and Gear 2 :)

Charging them both atm before I have a nosey. Not initially taken with the gold phone but I must say the Gear 2 is quite a tidy little thing. I thought I'd would be a bit large and overpowering but it doesn't look that way at all.

I doubt it's even that complex. Android probably saw patenting it as frivolous and Apple took advantage.

Yup, Google does not bother to patent a lot of things, whereas Apple patent everything and then troll all companies with it.

Had the same thought on the gear 2. Very sleek, not as bulky as expected.
 
anybody manage to swop the free white s-view cover that came with the phone (even though the phone was black) - Think I will pop over to vodacom to see if they will swop

got the same thing. i useless is that? I'll wait for the Note 4, and then when I give the S5 to my wifey, maybe she can use it.

Nice!

I was sitting there watching the batteries charge.
Watch charged first but useless as you can't do anything with it till it has been connected to the phone :)

Also, on the watch I get to about 61% battery left in a day at the moment, will have to see how that goes once I stop permanently playing with it.

Lol. I'm loving this thing. Mrs Spizz is going nuts though as I'm taking photos of her and changing channels while she's trying to watch Oscar's trial.

I find the remote software a bit limited but will look at alternatives once my garmin download is done :)
