Samsung Galaxy S5

First phone I find comfortable to hold but I have pretty big hands.
 
I don't like this blocking thing very much. Too basic. Anything else I can use for scheduling notifications?
 
Have they removed the eye sensing stuff? Can't seem to find it in the settings and I want to stop the screen from turning off.

No responses? Am I the only one getting this? Is it an application I've loaded rather than the phone? I get a similar verbal warning when the battery gets hot too.

Is your S5 from China Mall? :D Check to see if TalkBack is enabled under Accessibility -> Vision.
 
No worries! It was an app! I use All-in-one Tool, fell for loading their battery booster and it was that doing it. Uninstalled!

You really do not need a battery booster on this phone.

Try power saving and ultra power saving :) Even without them I have gotten some insane battery life.
 
I've noticed the battery life is quite a bit better than my S3 but then it's a new, bigger battery so if it was less I would be concerned.

used the phone constantly this weekend for this and then some.
Bluetooth, wifi, 3g (download booster) all on all the time. Very crap signal inside the house for anything but wifi.

The following constantly.

facebook
internet
tapatalk
Watsapp

The following several times in a charge.
Teamviewer
2x client
Carmageddon
Resident evil 4
Plenty photos in various modes.
Installed many apps
Kids mode for about an hour and then whatever else I used it for.

I also watched about 3 episodes of justified via Plex.

Charged Saturday morning (unplugged about 9am).
Charged again Sunday afternoon when I hit around 21% battery life.

Screen set to dim after 2 minutes.
I use the Active Apps widget that came with the phone quite a bit so don't have tons of apps running (in fact if I am not going to use an app in the next 5 minutes I open it from Active apps then just back press till it closes itself or if like Chrome it insists on running in the background no matter what I kill it from active Apps).

I'm on just shy of 3 days after a majority on-Wifi (rather than 3G) weekend. My S3 via similar usage used to give me around 1.5days.

Have had the phone for exactly a week and only on my 3rd charge. :)

Anyone using a case they would recommend? The standard Flip-view leather cover is utter shyte and I've just bought a Spigen Hybrid Neo off eBay.

Battery currently lasting around 24 hours with medium to heavy use. Mostly on wifi. No lag whatsoever. Feels much faster than my S4(i9500)

Finally got my shimmering white s5 last night.

Been playing with it a little bit since then but still early days. Battery was on 32% when I went to bed last night, woke up at about 7am and it was on..31%. S3 use to be similar in the early months I had it but after a couple of updates it went to hell.

Anyone else get an update out of the box? I got one, about 30MB in size..increased performance was the description.
