The S5 has a 5312 x 2988 pixel camera. My PC has a 1920 x 1080 resolution. The 27in Imac has a 2560 by 1440 pixel resolution. What sort of screen do you need to display all the pixels? What happens when you use a normal 1920x1080 screen does the pixels get combined?

The image can scale to the size of any display, or you can zoom into a portion of the image without losing resolution.

You make my head hurt :D

Also gives you the option of cropping photos and still keeping a reasonable resolution as well as large or high definition prints.

Don't know of its been discussed, but how strong is the vibrate function? It's the one complaint I have with my S2; vibration is so slight I can't feel it in my pocket

Can't remember my S2 being bad and the S5 being any different, but fwiw I've had to switch off vibration notification on words with friends because it's waking up my wife at night :D

Its pretty good and customisable so different apps have different patterns. The gear 2 is great for that as well. Can put everything on silent and never miss a call.

The first price reduction for the S5 has arrived . Chatz connect is offering the S5 for R459 on Vodacoms Smart S.A discount of R10.Well it is a start.

Is anybody using Ghost Armor on their S5? Does it have ant detrimental effects?

My mom upgraded her MTN contract and took a galaxy S5. She gave it to me as she doesn't like the touch screen. But she wants to keep her number. But my sim card doesn't seem to work in it? It sees all available networks, tries to register on the network and then times out. Says "Unable to connect. Please try later." I am on Telkom mobile prepaid. Are MTNs phones network logged? Do I need an LTE sim? Or what's the problem? Please help. Thanks

I heard it was. Not sure though. Doesn't really matter I guess. It will be a bit inconvenient, but nothing earth shattering to go to MTN prepaid. But I like the 8ta plan where I get free minutes for all incoming calls. I get loads of free minutes every month.

It cannot be, as Telkom Mobile roams on MTN.

Must be able to register on TM's network, or roam on MTN.

Check which model you have and compare it with TM frequencies.

But I agree with kingrob, there shouldn't be any issues

I have tried that. Still not connecting. I've got the G900F model. I'll visit Telkom mobile tomorrow. See if they can help. Thanks

They've given an LTE sim with the phone. But I don't want to put that sim in the phone as it will make my moms SIM card not work and she won't be able to put a micro sd card in her old phone.

Leave the rest on. Just disable LTE. Chose a different network provider from your own then put it back on automatic for the network but leave the LTE off and restart.
