Settings, more networks, mobile networks, network mode.

Put it on wcdma/gsm.

Then in Settings, more networks, mobile networks click on network operators and choose something like cellc then take it back to auto or Telkom.

You can also check access point names and see if it's set to LTE. Vodacom.co.za and change that to whatever telkoms apn is.

Went ok till I selected cell c. Said my sim can't connect to this network. Tried to connect to telkom mobile and it says it can't connect at this stage. Please try again later.

I have put both 32k and 64k sims into s5's so it can only be telkoms network, the phone or the sim.

Good morning. Still frustrated that I can't get it to work. Spoke to Telkom Mobile and they we're not able to assist me. Said I should get the LTE card and try. I seriously hope that it is not network blocked. How would I know if it is? Thanks guys for the responses so far

Telkom LTE will not work on the phone.

Did you change the APN?

Telkom LTE will not work on that phone, as it's MTN stock and MTN uses a different frequency for their LTE than Telkom Mobile.

Disable LTE on the phone, and just select HSPA+, should do the trick.

If it's too much hassle, just get a MTN prepaid sim.

Ok, so it seems to be the sim card. I put my friend's sim card in the phone and it worked perfectly. So I'll go do a sim swap later. Thanks guys

I'm quite out of the ROM game not having really played with them since the S3, so what are the chances of the 900F getting CM or even a Play edition?

Is anyone running a custom ROM on their S5 and how's it going?
