have a s6 the sm-g902f model, was bought on a cell c contract but now use it on vodacom. Would changing to the vodafone firmware improve my signal with basebands etc?
On the weekend i was with 2 friends both vodacom samsungs, one getting 3g (s5) the other 4g, mine was only getting edge, restarted the phone and i could only get 3g and even then it dropped off to edge after.

no it has a k@k battery life. but now its at least functional and its fast as heck

yea, i have got 4g plenty a time, was just in pmb this week and i noticed my friends samsung seemed to constantly get better signal then me.

Something strange happened to my phone. It looks like theres a mark caused by internal heat or something on my screen. It looks like a small sunflare but is completely flat. Phone gets extremely hot even when just using internet. It wasnt there when I bought it a few weeks back. Please check your phones for similar "hotspots". Should i take it back for replacement. On contract from MTN.

Nope. All Samsung based ROMs use the Samsung camera app and firmware. Only CM ROMs lack the Samsung camera firmware.

Nope that was an honest question. You flush rooms as well, right? Is the camera app of the room not sub standard of the Samsung app? Or os there a samsung camera apk that one could flash to keep the same high quality results?

All Samsung based ROMs are the standard TouchWizz firmware - just with root and customisations. There is no change to the camera or its performance.

Ah, I am not familiar with the ROM, so didn't know it was TouchWiz based, makes sense, thanks

I use Google camera, but I went into my camera camera and it looks and takes pictures like it always has?

This phone is God fast.

Like it's unlike anything I have ever seen in my life.
