Indicative pricing for the Samsung S6 range available on Vodacom new line applications (this includes Porting from a different Service Provider) and also available for renewal Upgrades

dear god that is expensive.

Think I'm going to wait for FNB to get the device, and go prepaid. I can buy a lot with R800 a month.

Meh. :(

Where would a S6 normal sit on a Smart L then do you think? Porting from Cell C and need 200min a month.

I starting the feel very sad about the pricing. I think FNB is going to be close to R600. And if that's the case I might as well stay on my contract and just do the 779 (which is the contract I'm on now). Because R180 of prepaid anything is not going to get me far.

So the standard S6 once again failed to beat its predecessor in Battery life in PhoneArena's battery test:
http://www.phonearena.com/news/Sams...-score-trails-that-of-its-predecessor_id67632
and the S6 Edge just made it but with its display 20nits less bright than the other phones:

Really worrying, IMO. I hope Samsung some how fix this as the S6s should be owning with those 14nm CPUs ticking away far more efficiently than any other chip around.

WRT memory, the S6s will have 23GB out the box, (Note 4 has around 25GB despite the SPen stuff).
This isn't Samsung's fault though but rather Android Lollipop and its new Runtime. Seems the 64GB is the way to go...or rather just get the 128GB and never worry about space:

Looking forward to what those who get it say though, it may all not be as bad as it seems, I just hope Samsung don't make the same mistakes with the Note 5 later this year.

Absolutely pathetic show by the M9, I'm guessing that is due to the rushed Snapdragon 810 CPU, seems both Samsung and Htc have disappointed, the M8 pulled 71h, beating both M9 and S6, if I had a S5 or M8 I wouldn't bother getting either the S6 or M9 (or any phone with a Snapdragon 810 WRT the M9).

Its LG and Sony's move now.
