Samsung Galaxy S6

MTN yellow trader is out but still no calls and our local branch doesnt have stock. lekker MTN

It does mention ADH and something about a kindle ebook promotion. also free wireless charger so whats the point or a pre order then.
 
So what ADH do we get with the S6. I'm really keen on getting a S6 cash on prepaid or contract.

Still not bad because if it is ADH premium it could mean courier and loan phone is included......

Yes but if premium then that means those extra would most likely be included. Funny that Samsung did not mention what exactly the S6 ADH includes and what it does not.

Might be a good idea,one advantage that people often forget is the free wifi with the SmartPlan 100 package. I often spend a hour or so around lunch time in a shopping mall. Nice to do some surfing without using any of my cellular data.
 
Following tweets of the S6 local launch. One pic showed a slide which said that the S6 is 34% more effecient with its battery compared to S4.

Why would they even talk about S4? Because S5 has a superior battery life obviously. And THIS is my gripe with this device. Major step backwards in the one department that can make or break a phone experience.

No prizes to guess why the wireless charging pad is being thrown in - it's because Samsung hopes to lesson the pain from reduced battery life!

Looking more like a skip for me. Probably go Note 4 and bank the change...

Nice and solid, doesn't feel like a Samsung :) initial setup was a bit of a hassle with double tapping and voice confirmations active (don't know why), but all in all pretty decent phone. First time I've seen Lollipop , so a bit different for me. Handed it over to the boss, so back to the S5 mini for me :)
 
According to MTN Direct they will only start calling the guys that pre registered on the website after 11 today. So probably wont be getting the phone any time soon.
 
Got a call from CelluCity. Their cash price for the 64GB Edge is R16,200. Politely declined the offer and they took me off their list.

I'm in no hurry to get this phone. I have a Vodacom number that can be ported to Telkom. Somebody mentioned LTE on the Telkom network. Will it work?
 
When I pre-ordered my S4 2 years ago, they only called me a week after launch, I already upgraded in a store by then. MTN are apparently useless when it come to pre-orders.
 
I'm patiently waiting for my call from CellC and Telkom Mobile. (R499 TM deal looks good :D)
Vodacom called but wtf am I to do with 200MB of data??? It's 2015 a gig should be the bare minimum.
After being told I could bolt on another gig for R99, bringing total to R628, I declined.

At least CellC sent me an SMS saying I will get a call soon and mustn't go the store.
Not even a murmur from TM or MTN.
 
I received an email from our local MTN shop confirming that they have the S6 in white available. I am out of town and hopefully they will keep it for me till Monday. If not I won't really be stressed, I am sure there will be enough stock within the first few weeks.
