I was told that they are not allowed to answer incoming calls.
The number is there only for the shop use and for centre or mall requirements

Yeah, exactly!

I pre-ordered with them the day it went live and still no contact.

Best option is to go in store which I plan on doing today after work.

You could also try their chat support.
 
Just got a pre-order call from MTN. They did some security info checks and said the application will go through vetting and once approved I can choose which contract I want and they'll deliver it next week.
Only after that has been processed, will my application be sent to their marketing department and go into the lucky draw to receive the pre-order items.
 
Yeah also just upgraded to a Galaxy s6 via MTN Direct. Decided against the Edge but what was touch and go. Will get delivered next week with free wireless charger. Just hope I was also in the first 200 so I get those extra goodies :)
 
I'm still undecided between the S6 and Edge, there's less grip on the edge and the screen edges currently don't provide any meaningful practicality but if they open it up to use with 3rd party apps it may start to be useful.
The price isn't too much of a concern, you're also getting 32GB more on the Edge.

I'll probably go for the Edge, the S6 looks too similar to my S4 (and alot of other smartphones). It's about time I got something different.

The Edge has a better grip in your hand than the normal S6.
The edge has loads of functionality already built in, more to come im sure.
Also when it comes to Samsung, expect atleast 35% of storage to be consume with native apps. Unless you root it.

Which native apps be that?
 
Also stopped at Telkom and applied for the contract..... Picking up in the morning hopefully
 
I went and signed up for my s6 contract at Telkom on Smartplan 100 and they said they will call me next week when the phone comes and they can't guarantee the wireless charger.

That's ridiculous
 
Cell C Canal Walk phoned me, asked me which colour I want and told me I can pick it up tomorrow :D
