Samsung Galaxy S6

Lollipop came out June last year. That's the reason we flash our phones. You wait months for OEMs and service providers to release updates.
+1
I couldn't be arsed to wait for my carrier to decide if and when I receive an update.
Thank God for XDA :D

So is it worth going through all the trouble of downloading, resetting, downloading again and restoring all data to get on MM for those that have done it?

What changes over lollipop does Marshmallow bring for me to go through this process

Sell it to me, make me want to do this

( I want to but I need a little more motivation)

Sorry Thor but if you have to ask for what's new in MM then I don't think this process is suited to you. You will lose all your apps etc and the OS has a few bugs.

Yes. Stay away.

So it's crap then (:
Don't get me wrong the OS is much smoother than LP - I have yet to see a lag. Plus the fingerprint reader is lightening fast. But their are some oddities like in my case my phone just disconnects while copying files via USB.
ES file Explorer and ftp sorted that out for me.
It's bugs like that that will frustrate most users.

I hear you.

I think I'll be better of just running that custom Rom, but I hate flashing and sizzles

Just to clarify. I don't think it's crap, I just don't want Thor going through the process and then complaining the next couple of weeks that this is the worst phone he has ever owned. Again.
