Seems two people got it early;

TmoNews has been able to confirm that orders have made it to two of its readers. One got a 32GB Black Onyx Galaxy S7 edge while another got the same device in the Silver Titanium. It’s February 29, 12 days before the day when most other Galaxy S7 phones are shipping.

Pre-ordered an S7 and S7 Edge with Vodacom the morning they opened for pre-orders. I have 2 reference numbers via SMS/Email, but no calls to confirm.

Walked into a local Vodacom branch this morning to find out about this as my S5 pre-order "went missing" 2 years back and I missed out on the free extras. The lady in the shop could not help me with my reference numbers nor a price on the contract options (which will be the deciding factor). She suggested coming back after the 7th when their new magazines are printed.

Weird as it seems I actually got a call a few hours after posting here. From what I was able to gather from the person I spoke to:
- Vodacom will have stock by the 11th
- A selection of free accessories are included
- The Gear VR is also included, BUT will not ship with your phone. Instead you have to claim it once you have the phone by installing the Samsung rewards app and filling your details in from the 11th to the end of March.
- Contract pricing wise on the Smart S I believe the price is around R620 for the S7 and R700ish for the Edge. (I couldn't hear this part too well as I was driving at the time)

With the s5 I was refreshing the vodacom page about once every fifteen minutes when it released so got phone and gear 2. This time? Meh. Curious as to price, good chance I'll get a note or s6 of its too ridiculous.
