Samsung Galaxy S7

I'm going for the normal S7, black..
Prefer the slightly smaller size.
I think the majority of ppl are going for the edge.

Okay got tracking details. Onway to isando. Was told if it flies to cpt overnight will have it tomorrow. With bated breath i wait hoping and praying it flies tonight

If you not concerned about the size of it in your pocket, i would go for the edge.
Otherwise the normal one will be fine, was never a fan of the whole curved screen.

So apparently Vodacom have no stock of the wireless chargers. Getting some bluetooth speaker instead.
Can you guys reccomend a good wireless charger for the S7? Or best to buy the original.
Will need a good case for it aswell.

Get the Choetech fast wireless charger & adapter. You can order from AliExpress and it gets sent from the Choetech Store in Holland (despite them saying they are going to send from China).
Excellent product and comes in its own box so you can pack it away when you are not using it.
I have ordered four so far for my friends with Note 5 & S6 Edges. The adapter is a 2.0 fast charger like the one we will (hopefully) have in our S7 boxes. Choetech say that not all S7 wall adapters are compatible with their fast chargers, so rather be safe than sorry. If it works okay, you can always sell the adapter (it also comes in its own box).
DO NOT just order a Samsung fast charger online, even from Ebay unless you are 100% sure it is genuine. Most are fakes and have no fans. They charge up the S6 just fine but will not fast charge at all as they have no fans.

Wohoo!

I think I hate you. ;)
MTN said Friday but probably Monday.
LOL, a thought has occurred (ouch). This is South Africa. Somebody will probably knock over the van and send the whole lot to Nigeria. :D

Does one still need to charge your phone for 8/12 hours before using it or will you guys be using it as it arrives?

You don't charge Li-ion batteries to full for first use, as you did with old NiMH / NiCad batteries. Hasn't been like this for years already.

Just use it straight out the box and charge it when needed.

I'll use mine while fast charging
