Yes but i cant seem to get the xfv filmware (downloaded the xfv vodafone and it came out german) ..... My phone is xfa

Those were the only changes for the update, us on Vodacom then just had the added VoLTE and VoWiFi tweaks.

Maybe that's why I'm not seeing any icons. VoLTE or the phone icon. How do you know though? Are they doing maintenance? When will it be back on?

No. Wifi calling is vodacom, xfv, specific. You flash anything else... Poof, gone

If you're not seeing VoLTE it's not activated for you, call 111 or Vodacom LTE activation requests and ask to activate your VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling.

The VoLTE should work immediately and the Wi-Fi calling will work once it's back online for everyone.

My service provider is vodacom (sim) and the device is from mtn xfa

If you're not seeing VoLTE it's not activated for you, call 111 or Vodacom LTE activation requests and ask to activate your VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling.

The VoLTE should work immediately and the Wi-Fi calling will work once it's back online for everyone.

I did call they confirmed it is, she even deactivated and activated again and I got the confirmation sms. Only the 4g icon shows.

Then the only thing I can think of is taking it to Vodacom and asking them to flash it with the Vodacom firmware.
