Samsung Galaxy S9

Update!

Is this with Vodacom? I just checked on my phone (MTN) and it isn't available.

RAM just delivered my watch at work in Hatfield. No call they just pitched. App still says "processing".

I've seen some people say their S9+ gets less battery life than the S8+ and Note8 around Android Central and MacRumours, thought maybe it was just a matter of the battery having to be run-in sort of, but according to AnandTech the new Exynos9810 found in the S9 and S9+ is around 20% more powerful than the 8895 while being 50% less efficient than the 8895 found in last year's models.

Almost as if Samsung LSI are having their own Snapdragon 810 moment, this could explain why the Note9 is rumored to have a huge +3800mAh battery later this year.

Anyway here's the article, I just hope by the time the Note9 lands, Sammy have fixed this:

Looks like it can be fixed via FW though unlike the Snapdragon 810.

The battery life on my s9 plus is an absolute beast. Those people on the forums cry and whine about every. Seriously. This this outlasts the note i had by hours. Very very happy with battery life

I think it's less the people complaining and more AnandTech's findings. I am sucker for this stuff, and I have always been advocate for Exynos, lol! Just very weird Samsung made these mistakes, as usually Exynos absolutely obliterates Snapdragon at efficiency.

The takeaway here is that if your S9 battery life is good, then soon it should get even better when Samsung sort this issue out.

The update still hasn't come for me (XFA). I desperately want to update because I am experiencing intermittent signal loss when I receive calls.

Aside from flashing, is there any other way to update?

No, unfortunately not. If you have issues, you should take the phone back

All i can suggest is change to xfe south africa u branded. Sammobile and use odin oreo version.

Thanks guys. The signal loss is slightly annoying but I am cautiously optimistic that the update will rectify the issue. Gonna wait a few more days and if the update still hasn't come through, I will switch over to XFE

Must be honest i hope there is a camera update or fix coming out soon. This phones hype was camera reimagined and i can honestly say the note 8 took better pics. I cant get basic auto photos clear.

Seriously? Mine is perfect. Have you removed the sticker from the camera glass?
