Lol, some people are enthusiasts like that. Although, the S9+ in my opinion is more than enough of an upgrade from the S8+.
- 4G RAM to 6GB RAM
- 64GB internal to 128GB Internal Mem
- Single Camera with OIS to Dual Camera with Dual OIS plus Optical Zoom and Mechanical Variable Aperture
These are big upgrades.
Whereas the regular S8 to S9, is not really much of a upgrade other than regular stuff i.e. CPU, Display etc... I think the Camera is the only big thing really.

I've had it for 3 years now. I bought it about 2 months before the Oneplus 2 was announced.
I'm running LineageOS. Mostly ok, but there are some niggles. I'm getting random reboots. I also have to take off the back cover every 3 months or so to clean out the diary from my camera lens. For some reason it gets in there.
The hardware is still good, except for the battery that is dying. Currently getting about half a day from it. If it wasn't for the ridiculous red tape to import batteries, I would have gone that route.

When did you do the pre order? i did it last week with Vodacom and they advised 2-3 weeke for delivery even though its launching on Wednesday

Congrats on receiving it early, just a question, If you pre-ordered with Vodacom, you are supposed to receive the Wireless Charger, Level U headset (i think) and a R500 Samsung Accessory pack, did you get anything along with the delivery, or did they explain how to receive it ?
as far as i know its done via the samsung rewards app

That's what they told me when I ordered it. However I'm not seeing anything within Samsung Rewards, so I may need to call them and find out what's going on.

I think its beacuse the phones havent officially been released yet so 99 % dont have the devices. Once available it will show up in samsung rewards

Yip, sounds like that's it. The guy from Samsung said I need to wait for the 9th Mar (The real pre-order release date), and then there will be a banner that will pop-up in the Samsung Rewards app.
