Yip, sounds like that's it. The guy from Samsung said I need to wait for the 9th Mar (The real pre-order release date), and then there will be a banner that will pop-up in the Samsung Rewards app.

So pls dont keep us in suspense.... Initial thoughts.....

All the shops I visited today only had the S9+.

Tough one. I went for the S8 and I enjoy its smaller size for running, cycling and general pocketability. On occasion I do wish for a bigger screen and when I pick up a + variant the screen does wow me but then I could forget about running or cycling with the thing in my pocket.

In the end kind of glad I got the S8. I'm sure the bigger + screen will become 'normal' within a few days but I wouldn't have been happy if I can't take a phone with me while I do normal things.

I'm not too fussed about the bigger screen or the zoom camera. What I like is the 128GB+6GB RAM, but mainly the bigger battery.

No complaints compared to s7 edge I had before with its monster battery. Beats the iPhone 7 battery by a mile.

Vodacom phoned me and said they only ship Friday morning.

If I can get this in a store, I'll go there now.

I went passed Vodashop yesterday and lady had no clue when they receiving the phones

That's what they told me when I ordered it. However I'm not seeing anything within Samsung Rewards, so I may need to call them and find out what's going on.
