I am looking for a wireless charger for a Samsung S9+. Does anyone have any recommendations for a quality charger (but not too expensive), locally available?
Any of the wireless chargers that have come out since the S6 will work.
The latest wireless charger from Samsung is the smallest to date, and charges my S9+ as well as S3 Frontier watch. I got mine from New World in Menlyn for R850.
The convertible wireless charger is slightly bigger than the latest one, and has a leather feel to it, and converts from a flat pad to an upright charger. Price on them is in the region of R1200.
The Dual Charger from Samsung also works well but is quite pricey at R1500.
You can charge 2 phones simultaneously, or a phone and watch at the same time.

Would someone be willing to test the following on their s9+:
Play a video using MX Player.
In the menu, click on Subtitle > Online Subtitles > Search > opensubtitles.org
Does MX Player force close? On mine, it does and is so frustrating as I cannot input my opensubtitles login details.

Has anyone recently received updates? I'm on XFA and still on the August security update.

XFV got the October update on Saturday.
Me as well. I checked on Sammobile but there hasn't been an XFA update yet. There was an XFE one though

How does that work? Will you then still get the XFA updates from MTN as well? I'm confused...

Ok, so I changed from XFA to XFE last night. It still shows XFA though. But the security update is now on 1 October instead of 1 August.
I'll keep an eye on the OTA updates to see if I did everything correctly.

Forgot to add, downloading the firmware from Sammobile took forever, even on my 50 Mbps fibre. They really want people to pay for premium...

Do you still get OTA updates after that? XfA or XFE?
I don't know. I update before the OTA is out. MTN are always the last to push it.
