Samsung Galaxy Tab S3

Thanks, even quite pricey on Amazon but they are about the best tablets on the Android platform, the Oled screen is very nice.

saw one or two specials down to 399, think i paid like 420 for mine in the used like new section

The Tab S3 is hardly a blip on anyone's radar (well, in SA anyway), and they are already talking about the S4.
I regret paying what I did for the S3 and should have just settled for the S2...

Damn, don't say that. I just got mine. Very happy with it so far. I'm a bit unlucky though with the S4 coming out now. i wonder how that will affect the prices of the previous models and also what the price of the S4 will be.

Anybody else using one as a business tool?

I am seriously considering one to replace a physical note pad, catalogue, pricelist and order book.

Would love to hear feedback from actual users

Amazing bump. I was just by chance looking at this tablet and found this thread!

I use mine for work and use dropbox for everything: meeting minutes, writing notes during meetings, keeping up with email etc. It works very well. But...
I still feel that I should just have bought the S2. I would probably have the same performance and usability and saved a few Grand, but I wanted the latest and greatest.

Thanks PatrickH,

We are using Office 365 so the same concept then.

Do you use any spreadsheets on it? I am talking about using the SPen to write numbers in a xls and then have the converted to "typed" numbers. Pretty much like converting writing to typed text.

Has anybody loaded Office 365 onto this device?

In particular Outlook, Word & Excel

My hand writing is terrible, so its best if I type everything.

Oh, and look after that SPen. Mine dropped out my top pocket and into the pool. Very expensive to replace.

I use MS Word and Excel, but not Outlook.

I am planning to replace pen and paper with this device.

I am rather sick and tired of taking orders down manually, calculating line prices with a calculator and then adding up the entire order, which can be anything from 1 line to 11 A4 pages.

So in theory I want a spreadsheet into which I can capture the order, the lookup then populates the total column and viola order complete and can be emailed to the dispatch and a copy to the customer.

Or even use an app

Google numbers should be able to do that, great feature is how nicely it syncs with the Google Drive desktop app, all the files you are working on the tablet with are instantly on your computer, you can seamlessly switch between the 2.
