I was thinking a Samsung Plasma would be the best way to go, with Active 3D Glasses.
Anything better I should be aware of in the same price range? :confused:
 
Anybody know anything about this model?

I also need to know whether it will play 3D MKVs, and if that will work over wifi, or do I need to route CAT5e cable?
Or does it only play 3D using a BD player?

C'mon Media geeks, I need your input! :(
 
Also very keen on this tv. Any reason you looking for the active 3D specifically?

Samsung has the better smart functionality and price but LG uses passive 3D. Research indicates passive is better on eyes/brain than active.

Passive halves the vertical resolution :(
Also, I think all Samsung TVs are active (or all their plasma's at least)

So far my only worry is the glare from a bright lit room.

I will buy this TV on monday and report back!

And? How is this TV?
Looking at getting one. I still prefer Plasma over LED.
