Samsung S4 Mini - Lock screen options not avalable???

Hi Guys,

I have a Samsung S4 mini.
Android version 4.4.2

I was getting bored with my unlock pattern and wanted to change it.
Once I got into the correct menu "Select screen lock" all options except PIN and Password was "blocked", or greyed out.
Anybody have any idea how I can unblock all the options???
