Samsung Series 5 @ Game

I need some advice on getting the Samsung Series 5 40" @ Game for R9999

I was actually thinking about getting the Sony S Series 40"

Which 1 is the best and best value for money?

I have read some articles about the 5 series and it says that it only runs at 50hz were the Sony runs at 100hz? Does this make a difference?

It must tell you something if What Hi-fi magazine still use the Sony Bravia as their benchmark LCD & constantly give it 5 stars.

Get yourself the 100hz one, cos the 50hz causes what the industry refers to as 'ghosting', and you'll see that happening when you're watching any fast moving sport match, etc.

Get the Sony.

The two are very similar in terms of quality, at that price you cant go wrong.

It is a good bargain.

i saw a phillips 42" at hypermarket for 9999 today
you might wanna check that too
dont remeber the model tho
