Sandton (or surrounds) restaurant recommendations please

As per title. Not overly pricey, nor dingy. With decent vegetarian options. TIA.
 
head to parkhurst? maybe options there...
 
Pretoria East is the new Sandton. Some great places there and only a few minutes away.

I was hoping that something cool and different had opened up in the last 4 years. I've been to all of those many times before. Would prefer to go somewhere I haven't been before.
 
Hmm I'm from kempton so not sure of new restaurants.
Pigalle - not sure what their veg options are like
Crème in Brooklyn though is awesome!

I hope i spelt those right..:o
 
I was going to recommend Bull Run but I don't think they do plenty of vegetarian dishes.

They are across the JSE, next to the Balalaika Hotel.
 
Morningside shopping centre has some good restaurants Green Peppercorn is my favourite although their vegetarian option is limited

Nicolway also has some reasonable restuarants
 
If it wasn't for the vegetarian restriction, I'd say go to Chaplins Grill on the corner of William Nicol and Republic. Best steaks I've ever had...
 
On that street where Norwood shopping mall is, you will find many restaurants.

The best Indian (Hindu) restaurant is in one of the side streets .... wish I could remember the name but it's been a while.
 
Drop me a PM if you want to know about a classy, well priced restaurant where the food is excellent and it's never overcrowded. ( And only 5 minutes out of Sandton )

I'm not going to share the name publically, because I don't want competition :D
