Well well well, now we know who the hacker is.

The "attack" is probably due to angry consumers, all trying to access the system at the same time. The idiots at VPC sent out SMS's incorrectly to toll users who have already paid in the last week. I guess the system is so fragile it couldn't take the weight of all those clicks.

And now it is responding and very fast again. So I guess it was simply too many users logging on during office hours.

Tested it on two connections. The one gave me the error and the other one worked fine, albeit really slow.

Checked it just now again, loads instantly after logging in. On Afrihost here.
