Sansui 10" Lifepad tablet OS question

Good day all

I have recently bought a Sansui 10" lifepad tablet via BidOrBuy.
It is a lovely tablet and works quite well.
My only gripe is that the OS is 2.2 and I would like to update it to 4.something.

Can anyone advise how I go about this?
I have browsed the web and came up clueless.
I have also checked the actual tab under - Settings, about, and here there is nothing about updating the OS or software... I have another fong kong tablet which does display a update software under the About option, so too my phone. But unfortunately not the new Lifepad.

Could anyone please advise...

Sansui should update it for you by providing the update. If they haven't by now, they are unlikely to. You will find all your software updates in google play store.
How much ram is there? 2.2 is standard on tablets with little ram because the other versions need more than 512mb. If there is more, and there are no updates in google play, you will have to root your device and install it yourself.
