Sansui windows 8" WIB802

DA, if you have time, would you please give a quick 1,2,3 how you went about upgrading to windows 10 ?

Did all my updates for Windows 8.1.

Reserved my copy of Windows 10.

Downloaded the ISO for Windows 10 32bit.

Copied the ISO to my memory card on the tablet, I used a 16gb card as Windows 10 will also copy files to the card.

Mount the iso, start the upgrade. It will say something about too little free space, choose to use the memory card and off you go.

Will take about an hour till Windows 10 is fully installed.

Some things may be redundant, hopefully someone else can clarify.

Hey DA,

Can you please check what drivers you have installed for the touchscreen.
We upgrade the tablet to W10 but now the touchscreen is dead.
In Device Manager it shows "Goodix HID Touch" device, but even after selecting update driver it's still not working.
Updated all the windows updates with plugged in mouse and the keyboard but no joy.

Can't find the original tablet model before the Sansui rebadging so can't tell him what to search for.

Same drivers here. Have you tried a reset?

Did try a reset and didn't work.
I see there is a lot of extra HID items in the list:

The USB ones I understand because of the OTG mouse and keyboard.
Going to try and remove them and then see if windows picks up the correct devices this time.

If not I might have to ask you to extract your drivers in PowerShell and Dropbox them for me please.
At least then I'll know he has the correct drivers.

No problem, let me know.

Quick question, got into a huge argument with the Newtown branch in GP about the price.
Did you guys buy it for R1299?

Store said branches were mandated to added their own BS warranty and case for an extra 700 odd.

Head Office is closed so can't get a hold of them at all.
