Sansung P2770H backlight bleed!?

So excellent news, turns out the invertor board was screwed up. It is now repaired and I'm experiencing as minimal bleed as I was with my 2333SW (little to 0 casually observable, ever so slight on the bottom right, if you look for it).

Crappy to have this experience with a new product, but then again it's looking as good as possible and I'm extremely impressed!

Stoked.
 
I just bought this screen, waiting for it to be delivered, they said within the next 3 days :( Hopefully I dont experience any backlight bleeding!
 
This is great news! Now I'm even more motivated to go through the trouble of taking my monitor in.

Holding thumbs for ya, it was a bit depressing at first, and was away for just over a week, but it's all good now, can finally let go of my trusty 2333SW, which I've grown quite attached to :) Served me well.

Could be well worth it if it's under guarantee/warrantee still..
 
So I just received this monitor today and here are my thoughts...... Overall, this monitor is awesome. However, I am struggling with the HDMI port. I am trying to connect my HD6950 to the monitor. However, the image quality and sharpness of text is really bad! Iv been sitting till now trying to find a way to fix it. This screen is horrible when connected with HDMI-HDMI. Blurry, Fuzzy, unclear text. This is what im getting and cannot seem to fix it. So I decided to test using DVI. And walla, everything is perfect now. Screen looks amazing now, everything is clear and sharp.

I am disappointed in the fact that the HDMI gives me crappy quality as this was the reason I also upgraded to a HD6950 from a HD4870x2. I was pretty happy with my HD4870x2.

What do you guys think I should do?

That makes no sense, the picture quality should be the same for HDMI & DVI. So if that was your only reason for upgrading you've wasted some money.

Touche, i agree with you, but that seems to be the problem. Hdmi is not as good as dvi, and apparently there have been reviews on newegg that have the same problem. I cannot seem to fix it, iv tried everything i can think of and i will keep trying again today. But yeah, seems like i did waste some money.

Ye hdmi = dvi + sound.

However if your hdmi is actually faulty I say return it and get CRT to fix it!
