Never submitted any supporting documents either.Call centre today said I have to go to a branch with copy of ID, proof of residence and a bank statement not more than 3 months old, they said there's no other way to verify.

Did it.the new account showed immediately. Used the update banking profile feature on efiling website to delete absa account. Took 4 days for money to be paid in.Have you done your efiling and was the new account on your profile / money owed to you paid into the new account?

No, but they might add the R250 admin penalty every month and deduct it from the refund amount.

Is one allowed to claim an admin cost if managing one's own rental property without an agent? I had heard it said you could claim back ten percent of the rental income as "admin".
