It depends on the following:

SPOT 1: These out of pocket expenses are reflected on a Medical Aid certificate
SPOT 2: These out of pocket expenses are NOT reflected on a Medical Aid certificate but you have the receipts and invoices

Which one?

This

They used to be a smooth running machine until Zuma infiltrated it with a captured commissioner in Monyane

what would be nice is feedback, when you phone the call center, be open, and say whats going on, not "some time soon"

I had to laugh at the logic encountered earlier on.

1) Browse to efiling website on my smartphone
2) Get a prompt to download the efiling app rather
3) Download the app
4) Open app and get greeted with a message that says the app will only be operational in August 2017:confused:

Question:

I changed jobs in October last year (started 1 Nov).

Do I need an IRP 5 from each company?

SPOT 2...

What would the process be?

Okay, so the ultimate noob question...

What is the purpose of doing a tax return? Why do you get/owe money to SARS if you've been paying tax?

I started working in Jan 2017. I pay PAYE. I did not invest in TFSA (yet). I do not pay medical aid (covered by parents). Why should I still file a tax return? Someone told me its because I paid for 2 months in the previous tax year... Is that correct?
