SARS E-Filing 2017

Hello All, as per one of the previous posts here, I am concerned about the date on the ITSA-mine and the wife's one indicate 2017-08-01. Which could mean that they will only start paying out refunds after August 1. I posted mine at 21h30 on 30.06.2107. Received my IT34 within 2 minutes and the ITSA within another 2 minutes. The ITSA indicated a balance of 0.00, which previously indicated that the refund has been processed. Then on the 4th I received another ITSA indicating the refund amount and the date of 01.08.2017. With no request for any docs, and also not selected for audit.

I get the feeling refunds will not happen this month, maybe someone else knows better.

Quick one, where can I check my ITSA?, I only received my IT34 within a few seconds but nothing else, refund is due to me and I have not been selected for audit or verification.

i just phoned, they dont know, "apparently" no one has gotten refunds yet, "buut, eet can be any time from now until the end of the month"

Return submitted on Saturday morning. Have a refund due to me but still waiting......

Same here. I checked a couple of old ITSA's. All dated 01 August. Funds normally paid in a few days after submission. Mostly early July, when not audited.

Exactly, no one got anything yet- somewhere there is a major delay, for whatever reason. As I mentioned before, either they have major issues or they are delaying it on purpose.

I was also told by our Tax specialists here at our company that they (Sars) only have payment runs on Wednesdays and Fridays, maybe some people will be lucky and get their refund tonight at 12 or tomorrow morning. We will have to wait and see.

Just saw on my IRP5 from my previous company that there are errors on the IRP5 itself. This after I submitted it to SARS for verification. ****!

Ex-colleague mentioned it to me this morning and advised me to check. Shame on me for not checking properly but shame on the company for not making their own employees aware of the issue. Apparently I can mail them and request the fixed IRP5 but now the ball is in SARS' court until they complete verification

Colleague of mine's cousin apparently works for/with SARS, sounds like their systems are a shambles and we shouldn't expect payment soon.

Now, I can't vouch for his cousin, but my colleague isn't the type to talk bollie about these things. Really hoping his cousin is the lying dip**** kinda guy,

Mine too. Apparently a lot of irp5's are a mess, this according to my tax guy. SARS is a shambles this year with the new changes

Is this due to the changes that SARS has made or the employer not correctly populating the IRP5 document?

a little of both if Im to assume. For example, IRP5's not reflecting correctly and unable to make changes. Discovery is having issues with issuing IRP5's according to my profile and then the call centre verifying this. Then on SARS side the efilling not accepting changes.

I have the IRP5 issue. Already submitted the faulty document to SARS so I will have to wait for them to decline my verification, then submit a NOO, then resubmit the correct document and hopefully then all is good in my world.

mine all done and gone through with no issues, so why cant they pay...
