What is the likely hood that refunds will still come through today or sunday?

If it shows on your Statement of account that a EFT made, then the chances are Sunday with some banks.
If not then chances are next week Saturday latest.

It seems the programmers use a stack with a pop().

I was raged for about an hour before I got into SAD mode.
Well next weekend we can party, I hope.

Ok so a friend of mine submitted on Monday only to hear on Tuesday that the company submitted the the IRP5 wrong to SARS.

She immediately requested a correction on her efile profile and proceeded to wait for her new IRP5.

She informed me now that her money has been paid into her account.

1: How can they finalize even though she requested for a correction.

2: What must she do now seeing as she still has not submitted the correct IRP5 and the refund she got was 10x less than what she was suppose to get.

File a request for correction, if this does not work do a dispute. The fact that SARS did not flag it for an audit means that the employer did not fix their reconciliation with SARS. So as far as SARS is concerned the reconciled IRP5 is correct.

Now this is triple unfair. I submitted at 05:30 on July 1 and I'm with FNB, and yet y'all get your refunds first :/

Yeah, no clue. All my IRP5s were preloaded as well as Discovery, so it can only be Old Mutual's RA at fault.

The company is yet to send the new correct IRP5. She said someone working with her did the same as hers and she was asked for documents and no money has been paid to her.

Just weird that hers went through but anyway, will tell her to request a correction or dispute otherwise she should go to the branch.

Presumably she has not submitted the correction (as she is still waiting for the new IRP5)?

All that needs to happen is she needs to submit the revised return as SARS will pay the difference (once all formalities like audit/verification is completed if selected for this)

Clearly she did not click on the "hold back payment" option while lodging her dispute.

She will get the rest of her money later that's due to her when the correction done.

She did not do a dispute, she requested a correction. There is a difference (dispute = you don’t agree with how SARS assessed you, correction = you made an error and need to correct something) and there is no option to hold back payment in the case of a correction

Received my refund this morning..

My SARS Status is now "Return - Assessed".
Previously it only showed eFiling Status as "Assessment received".
Hopefully my refund is on its way.
Still no refund date on Statement of Account though.

Anybody else delayed also with Old Mutual? Good thing I requested a transfer to Coronation (not least because Old Mutual's RA has high expenses).
