SARS E-Filing 2019/20

Did you click the pop up confirming you are deceased, insolvent or emigrating, to continue?

I think I clicked it a few years ago before the opening of filing season and populated everything as no details were preloaded at the time. I was selected for verification, and after submitting copies of tax certificates, my IRP5 & mileages, everything was approved.
Did not have to click anything to generate the return. The return was already generated. Just not populated with any IPR5 details. My supporting documentation was submitted on 9 June. Still waiting for refund.

Last year I had my refund paid out into my bank account before 1 July already.
Ditto. For the last 4 years I had refunds paid before filing season officially opened due to submitting my returns early.

Well, if the return is generated, you might as well submit it. Mine is not generated as yet.

Just so I dont have a premature heart attack. "-" before the number means they owe me right?

They just asked for some verifying docs, which I submitted hope that doesnt take too long.

I completed my 2020 return today. To my surprise, I received two errors I have never seen before. On pushing the "calculate" button I got " The field Gross Employment Income (Taxable) (3699) does not match the sum of the amounts entered for the remaining taxable income items. Please ensure that all amounts entered are correct. "

Funnily enough, I also received an error against source code 4102 "The PAYE you have entered does not seem to be valid. Please ensure that it is correct HINTS: The amount entered seems extreme, please make sure that it's the correct amount"

I have double, triple and quadruple checked and complete my IRP5 on efilling. Both errors persist. No sure what to do to at least get a tax calculation.

What I recall from last year... the first few weeks was very very buggy (on Sar’s side)

Filing season is not yet open, SARS is probably still busy with the PAYE reconciliations in the background, this being the reason why you should wait for the return to be issued as opposed to requesting it.

I got the same but I was still able to submit.

I had to request last year too, and this was after filing season opened.
