SARS E-Filing 2021/22

Done on Saturday, selected for audit. The same procedure as every year, James.

All my tax info has populated correctly, but I still cannot submit as the bank account name is not showing (it has a red box around it, but I cannot do anything). The bank account number is showing correctly.

My bank account name appears correctly on my profile, and I've had the same account during my 10+ years of SARS submissions. Anyone else had this problem?

Hi, thanks for the vid, but my bank details are already up to date. They are just not pulling through to the tax return.

Maybe I should try re-entering them - I just didn’t want SARS to think I was in fact changing them and then insisting I go to their office…

I had the same for both my wife and I, I just had to recapture the bank account details again and all went through fine.

Not selected for audit and have a decent return coming my way.
Day made.

Awesome, thanks, I’ll try it!
Have you had any success? I have the same problem, cannot edit the block of the bank name, other banking information is there, yet my banking details are correct (with bank name) on my profile.

Not yet… I’ve changed the bank name details on the maintain screen as per the video link above (seems First National Bank must now be FNB from the drop down), and have submitted the form. Just waiting to see what happens now.

"Please note that this tax return was not processed because SARS issued a Tax Directive No. XXXXX , but there is no Lump Sum amount declared on the return. You can access a copy of the Tax Directive on eFiling or MobiApp. Urgently contact the Fund Administrator/Employer to correct the error and submit the corrected tax return"

Lord knows whats happening here.

Call center unwilling to assist until Friday.

Sars seem to think i owe them 10k this year.

I will be sending them detailed expense sheets for my wfh expenses for the first time.

Thieving cnts. Think you took enough of my money already.

If anyone went through a wfh claim, please share your experiences

Was it a negative or positive refund amount?

I submitted and had no issues with WFH expenses.

Interest on bond , rates and levies, water and electricity , internet.

Surprisingly they didn't ask for my WFH letter or any proof compared to last year.

Isn't the amount you get back proportional to the actual area in your home that's dedicated to earning an income?

For me, I have a small office so it's not really worth it because it takes up such a small part of the house.

And you calculated by dividing office floor space by house floor space then multiply by cost?
